Barre Sculpt Pilates

At Barre Sculpt Pilates we offer a wide range of classes to suit all ages, fitness levels and abilities. We offer a selection of Pilates, Barre, High Intensity Pilates & yoga classes. As well as pre and post natal Pilates & mum & baby classes.
Our studio promotes a sense of well being with essential oils & candles allowing you to tune into the body & mind.

Modifications & progressions are given during each class meaning you can choose the layer that best suits your body.
We ask that you listen to how your body feels, this changes daily. There are days when you may wish to challenge yourself and there are of course days where you need to take a modification. By honering your body in this way means you are making the most of your class & workout. 

 

Helena

As a former professional dancer, Helena has reaped the benefits of Pilates throughout her dance career, which inspired her to train further in this field. Helena qualified in mat Pilates in 2016, and trained further to attain her Pre & Postnatal Pilates qualification & Booty Barre, a fusion of Dance, Pilates and fitness, created by world-renowned fitness and wellness expert Tracey Mallett.

Wanting to broaden her knowledge further, Helena is currently training with Body Control Pilates. Body Control Pilates is recognised as a world-leading education provider for Pilates teaching.

The education curriculum is internationally renowned and the membership body for Body Control Pilates teachers is one of the largest professional Pilates organisations in the world.

Being so passionate about our job means we continually invest greatly in further education, taking workshops and courses with master Pilates & Barre trainers, to keep furthering our knowledge and taking our classes to the next level.

Alicia

Alicia has enjoyed movement in various forms from a very early age & has practiced various dance styles from ballet, jazz and tap for over 30 years. Professionally teaching children the value of health and exercise for over 10 years. 

Having always suffered with low level back pain Alicia came across Pilates which completely changed her life. 

Alicia then decided to broaden her knowledge of Pilates by completing NVQ level 2 & 3 in Mat Pilates and then went on further to study High Intensity Pilates with Lisa Bradshaw. This class takes all the benefits of Pilates & adds a wonderful cardiovascular element. Alicia then went on to complete her Booty Barre & Booty Barre Sculpt qualification with world renowned Barre instructor Tracey Mallet. In 2019 Alicia achieved her level 3 award in adapting exercise and specifically Pilates for Pre and Post Natal clients. 

 

Alicia then broadened her knowledge further in Pilates and is currently training with Body Control Pilates. Body Control Pilates is recognised as a world-leading education provider for Pilates teaching.

• numerous workshops including shoulders,hips, sacrum, thoracic mobility
